I'm not sure if it fits in the categories but there's definitely some devious consent all along the way, since characters are under certain influence (don't want to spoiled anyone in case they don't like that)..
And even if they're in their right minds this: "don't" , "stop" , but-the-partner-keeps-going-till-the-end kind of troup can be a bit annoying.. I do understand that some people are shy, embarrassed, that's a real thing and this might be the case, but, making a pause to actually check on your partner, even if you know they're feeling good physically cause they might need some emotional reassurance it's a real thing too and most of the times it gets completely ignored by authors, is not that hard really .. I'm not sure if it was intentional to show a "not that great emotional connection" , but they are characters that supposedly care deeply for each other..
But this might be just me , the whole development of the history just feels a bit off , and the s*x escenes don't help at all..
