It's sad that the closed people like/love them(Hana & Mom) but they think only to possess instead of thinking about how to make them happy.

First I thought Kana was abused by his stepfather (mom’s new husband) so he had to stay with the relative instead of his mom.

Moreover the father beat him, didn’t want to hear his voice, so he might not want to hold him.

But at the end Kana don’t want to talk to his mom, their relationship must be quite bad so I’m not so sure anymore, even now. XD
