I’m surprised by the amount of people confused. Mc bought a couples ring and made up a fake girlfriend. Everyone he works with ‘knows’ he has a gf (he named her Sihyun?? S something).
Ml and literally everyone mc works with believes that he has a gf— mc did this by design. The fact that the friend seemingly knows mc isn’t dating someone made him shocked. He’s wondering how the friend knows he’s lying.
