For everyone who say that this is an excuse, just stop reading the story, please. I was waiting for her backstory because, behind every hard character there's a fragile inner child. Jjk doesn't know what's pure love, even if he's constantly want his mom back...It's just the 7 am and I'm crying already... I think that, after all this Jjk did a good job, running away from an abusive father is the most courageous move...he just need to learn how to love. He's impulsive because he's still have a wall around him, but I think, he really need a very patient person like Dan.
And I repeat, If you don't like both character and, since you all want a redemption arc just to hate the past of a character, just leave! Don't read this story ANYMORE!
