It was so the editor would accept it. The editor said crimes are a no-go so this author made it read more like a kink or fetish like sex tapes and audio only sex or phone sex. Both of them absolutely were stalking each other but it was consensual in the end so it was something they committed to. Theyre both still doing it after all. Either way, this was the only way the author was gonna get it published. The author even put it in the after comments that the editor said it’s a no-go.
I know and it doesn't change my stance. It's still an issue that it doesn't commit to its darker themes, no matter the reason why.
Problem with this one is that it follows the style of other BL without considering its dark theme. If you touch on morally wrong topics you gotta commit to it. Instead this work is kinda simple and fluffy in it's tone, as it's just another BL.
