That's like saying the men who beat the living crap out of their wives and verbally insult them, but say, "I love you," actually mean it. No, they don't. Love doesn't do that. Desire, obsession, wanting to control, toxic jealousy does that, but not love.
Love looks to do good to the one loved, to make their life better, to see them flourish, to support and encourage. Love doesn't rape, beat, choke, torment, lock up, and threaten to kill.
