They don't really have a choice, the Chinese government is really strict with LGBTQ+ elements and have to censor their works. However, there are some works that can be uploaded without the severe censorship by uploading it somewhere else than mainland China, if the work doesn't reach the mainland stream, etc. There's a lot more to this but I just wanted to tell you this because many BL manhua like this will be censored
If there is a novel, you should read that instead
