I'm really not into the fated mate thing. That takes a huge chunk out of my enjoyment. I like it better if everyone is on equal grounds and feelings naturally build. I mean if the couple is fated all is well (artificially maybe but oh well), but if they're not it always feels angsty. I like stuff where fated mates don't exist and just everyone can have children. Problems solved. You're two betas and wand your own children and a bond, BAM there you go be happy.
That being said though I like this manga (right now) and I think they make a good match, how they became a pair may have been bad but Kaoru did the only thing that would stop the others, and he is a good guy so I think they are gonna be happy. Unless this turns into a tragedy then I won't stand by my words here.
