Most likely, if she was as good a person jaekyung thinks she is she woulda done everything she could to bring him with her instead of disappearing and leaving him with his abusive dad
I'm already calling it. Jk's mother (if she's still alive) only came back for his money and that's why Jk thought Dan is only interested in money. The very person who should have been closest to him was only after his money. But that's only a theory.
