hypoxemia is the name of blood oxygen levels at 85% or below and requires immediate medical attention. its is rather common in people with reduced lung capacity which the MC has. it is still dangerously low though.
Look at this point I know I’m doing it to myself by choosing to keep reading, I know this is absolutely a grain-of-salt level of unserious fiction, but I SCREAMED at that oxygen saturation… like I don’t know if you guys understand, 85% is INSANE.

If anything he doubles down when Seowon brings it up!! Well you were holding some guy’s hand, of course I acted like a douche and forcibly made out with someone who has an 85% OXYGEN SATURATION LEVEL…
I’ve tended end-of-life-care patients in their 80’s and 90’s and have NEVER measured such a low percentage?! I know they said Seowon’s baseline is already low, but guys 92% is considered dangerously low, so 85%??? That his baseline is low is why he requires constant monitoring, because any lower could literally kill him???
Anyway. Sorry I just couldn’t BELIEVE that number lololol. Maybe emergency responders can speak on this more informatively, idk. Because that is an absolute crisis situation like jfc…
