I think she’s in a freeze mode rn bc she’s so overwhelmed with feelings but it’s frustrating to read

she has sympathy for both. killing someone isn’t justifiable especially killing kids. he has murdered so much and he is trying to murder even more. if he continues killing people they will never have a happy ending. i fear that nobody in this fandom has critical thinking skills and media literacy

I never said i wanted the ML to continue to kill people?!?! I just want the FL to actually get up and do something because if she don’t either the ML kills everyone or the ML will die dumb ass

I agree in a way that she needs to stand up. But she’s to self aware that she’s dying. And from the start, she’s been portrayed as more selfless than others, she worries about her household (the people not the father), the kirigaya (?) household who helped her live decently on her last month of life, and shinpei her lover to whom she wants to stop killing.

I think she’s hyperaware on shinpei’s status and that killing causes his mind to deteriorate more. That’s why she asked him if she really did kill the villagers cause he seemed like a more detached person at the recent chapter. Killing weighs heavy on her, but the order to stop killing (in my opinion) was made for shinpei’s sake. She knows she has traumas (which was recently revealed) but never tries to poke cuz she’s dying. What’s the point of trying to heal someone, when you’re dying, and end them open halfway? That’s basically inviting infection and worsening the person’s state.
