For me it's always about good characters/characterization. Everything follows after. Bonus for good plot.

1) art style should be to my liking
2) obsessive/possessive and yearner Top
3)interesting plot

I don't search for specific stuff I actually filter what I can't deal with, I try to avoid toxic stuff that already starts with rape
I usually get attracted by interesting covers usually things with parenting if in the mood for fluff, or horny if I'm in the mood for smut. I give it a go to most comics but if three chapters in it feels like a chore or is hurting me bad(there's stuff that hurts but good) I just drop it, put it in my to read list and forget it

The covers. Most of the time if the cover looks interesting I click, then I’ll read the summary and the comments.
Sometimes I’ll find someone else’s recommendations, and I’ll click the link.
Sometimes I’ll start reading, sometimes I won’t and sometimes they get dropped and forgotten.

Honestly the covers. If the cover uses bright colors and someones ass isnt being clenched, theb i usually go for that lol
