Although I can agree that the emperor couldn't show his love at blake openly at first but he did everything he could to keep people away from hurting blake although that hurt blake he didn't have major trauma....but now blake can see how much emperor loves and cares for him .....even without the curse emperor loved blake enough to keep away the nobles at bay from cursing more at blake and didn't remarry and cause trouble....
