It's not labeled a tragedy. From the raws, the alternate ending is him basically having the knowledge of the two other timelines and doing something in high school with no one getting hit by a car. The actual ending is up to the interpretations of the readers. In the extra bit, the author puts doodles to indicate that if it was Jae-ha that day, then he stopped the death back, and even though he got hit by the trucker,who tried to no do a full on collision, then he ends up in the hospital. I think if he wanted to kill him off, he would include a funeral or grave seen.

I don't understand chinese but I saw the pictures and Jae-ha didn't die on his graduation and 10 years later he came to meet with Yeon-Ho.
And while Yeon-Ho crossing the street, he got hit instead by THE FREAKING SAME TRUCK(??????) THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HIT JAE-HA. I AM DYING RIGHT NOW I JUST CAN'T. PLS HELP.
But the author made an alternative ending where they live happily ever after (i think)
