I meannnn that’s the point of forms of entertainment, not every one will like it. But people are allowed to discuss whether it’s positive or negative. It’s discourse. As long as no one is actively hating on the author. I don’t see why people can’t have different opinions on the male lead or the whole story in general.
Also, a lot of people are getting the ick because he’s kind of flat as a character, he’s promiscuous and kind of dumb. Also, he’s not very romantic and when asked what he liked about female lead, he again turn it sexual. I feel for him since he got abuse, but that doesn’t still excuse his behavior even if he was young. Feel free to like him, but people are also allowed to not like him.
I also think female lead is pretty flat as a character too, but I think people are more focused on the male lead since this is smut with a plot and a lot of people probably want more characterization and more romance, and the male lead is lacking a lot in that area. And I assume that the audience is mostly female, so people are definitely gonna be more focused on the male characters and their lack of depth
Also ppl complain about rape in dark romance all the time lol, but if you’re talking about the hardcore ppl then that’s a diff. some ppl just take it as it is
It’s not an issue.. I just said my personal opinion like everyone else cuz as you said.. people did not like him but honestly I don’t mind his character at all like yeah both the characters do have a flat personality no doubt but it’s just that I don’t expect much from a corn manhwa so I see no reason to hate either
Personally I like the characters and the story.. you guys be just complaining
