She did contact him when she got the opportunity but his Uncle died he was mourning so they really just missed each other

Yes. It's on chapter 92 right after they reunited.
Honestly it's not fair at all that he had to wait for 1½ years without any word from her. I get her circumstances but she did have opportunity to contact him. But still it all ended well so it's okay
