I seen in this mangas like
Glass Mask with Mayu Kitajima and Ayumi Himekawa
No friendship, but despite being rivals in their profession both leads supports each other and see the best in each other. Also Ayumi's character and her struggles are well-written
Life with Ayumu and Hatori
Both leads are best friends and care for one another. Hatori's character and past also plays a strong role.
