cause i don’t get any type of notification if someone upvotes or downvotes my comment so i don’t see the problem with disliking by mistake, like i wouldn’t have noticed either way so
it's not about the notification, nobody receives those. but the up vs down votes ratio is visible and they just dont wanna be rude. they are polite pookies.
Ppl just don't want them to think they said something wrong because there's a downvote. Most ppl wouldn't notice but it's still a nice thing to do.
