The MC is in a church choir. Each one of them has a different voice texture(on how good they are, etc.) But when MC sings, it’s always sticky slime with bugs, so I deeply think he hates how his voice is developing as he enters puberty. He can’t seem to sing properly anymore. He feels inferior to everyone, especially to the new black haired boy who sang like an ethereal angel living beyond stars and clouds. Because even when he speaks, it’s an array of stars—utterly heavenly.
MC parts himself away from the choir members, but then, boy, the kind soul he is, invites MC to sing with them. He hands him the music sheet. The MC then kills the boy by biting off his neck, just right to his voice box, hoping to steal the sound that comes out of it. But it was just MC’s imagination.
In the end, MC still feels like his voice is ugly as fck. Since the music sheet is on the floor with slime and bugs dripping onto it. I feel like MC gave up singing.
