I can't believe how you talk about his wife like that. First she cheated because he never touched her nor love her. He lie and also cheated on her with the president for god knows how many years. The wife almost got killed because of him like three times already. I think Ha Jin and his wife deserve each other both of them are fuck up.
As Sarang stated, she cheated on him because he COMPLETELY neglected her. He lied to her, didn't love her, their whole marriage was a set up, and he was also cheating on her with the president. Not to count the fact that he's killed tons of people....and the fact that she got raped and tortured because of him??¿¿ Ha Jin is my favorite character, and the wife is fucked up as hell too, but they both deserve what's coming to them. Without the wife, there'd be no story to begin with xD.
My god! Thank goodness somebody understand what I'm trying to say. Like I hate how people talk so bad about the wife and forgets that everything started because of Ha Jin. I just hope that they solve their problems.

They keep saying he cheated too..he was tortured, groomed, and raped. In one way or another the women in this story use him or force ideals onto him. They don't want him for him. They want him for the ideals they place onto him or what they think he can provide them. It's like in one way or another he is a tool for them to use. I hope he can escape these women (wife included).

What you say it totally true, but in the end, a killer is a killer. He isn't innocent. And the wife is gonna be crazy as hell too since her split personality is worsening. However one reason I somewhat prefer the wife over the other girls is because when she found out he was a killer, she literally didn't give a fuck. She just wants her husband's love. Which yes...she's using him for something...but wanting attention from your HUSBAND shouldn't be bad xD. Also the other women are just tooooo far gone lmao.
But her split personality first started because of her fuck up life with Ha Jin. I'm not saying she is innocent or a victim. But Ha Jin isn't any different from his wife. He is a cold hearted killer and he even thought about killing his wife many times because he thought she knew to much.
Exactly all she wanted was Ha Jin to love her. She accepted him no matter what. Yes the other women needs to understand what an unrequited love. Its not even love is just obsession.
