my point is that the wording used in the prophecy did not reflect them at all. meaning that it used "sun and moon" imagery that is often atibuted to royal families in empires, more specifically using the Sun when refering to the Emperor. again my point is why would you use wording in a prophecy that has nothing to do with the royal family, utilizing imagery refering to political status in an empire, while establishing a world structured as an empire. it could've been easily avoided, by refering to it as a kingdom and not an empire.
i agree with you. it really does make you assume that the prophecy is about the brothers, where the sun is the emperor, and the moon is the grand duke. i mean, the emperor is literally the sun of the empire. then, as for the meaning of the prophecy, in order for the moon (grand duke) to rise, the sun (emperor) must fall. i thought i was smart for figuring that out, but then they reveal to us that it was about the half sisters. didn't really make sense to me, but oh well xd

Am I the only one that thought that the prophecy didn't make no sense to be about her and flore??? like I'm sorry, but either a write a better prophecy or don't use the parallels of the sun in the moon when using a fucking empire, because from far away, that's what the prophecy sounded like..... that Johan cannot rise to the seat of the emperor until the current emperor Falls.... So like bad writing if you ask me.
