Actually, the ML is the stepbrother of her ex who cheated. So her ex cheated on her with another woman and this woman told him she was pregnant with his child, but seems like she lied. Either way, he was cheating and he ghosted the FL for years.
Then FL met this other dude, who ends up being the ex’s step brother, but FL doesn’t know that.
