As someone who hasnt read it i dont think its that random they had a lot of tension and ml has been clear about his attraction. Then add the adrenaline of an attempted murder and bam kissy. I do think its interesting how some times mc is hyper professional and sometimes he really aint lol
The kiss may not seem rushed to you but it does to me because the novel has WAY more development to the story. This is rushed compared to the novel. Which is okay because obviously the artist can't include everything other wise it would be so long
Y'all the reason the kiss seems so random is because the novel is less rushed. Although in the novel it seems a bit random but this is so much more rushed then it is in the novel!
