So, when he first marked him in the past (while graping him) he literally saw all seijin suffering, and even after that, he kept feeling seijin depression like it was his own.
In the current time line we are now back and we see ido marking again seijin. This time it was yes consensual, but after marking, the same thing happenes again. This time though we see things from seijin s pov. Seijin see ido's memories, and by that he regains all his past memories from his past life. Not only that, now he can feel ido s emotions, which is not happyness at all. He just feels regrets.
And that makes seijin sad, cause he can't even stay angry at him.

about that tbh i'm confused too. I hope they will explain it better in the future. Cause from what we saw, it seams only ido can see past memories of seijin. Cause even in his past life seijin didn't know ido didn't mean to make his brother grape him.
But the way they explained everything else, makes me believe they share everything now. So.... let's wait and see. Hope it's not a plot hole but just something it will explained better later. Like maybe it is just seijin that wanted to have a confirmation wfrom idos lips
