Na-uh, you won't make feel sorry for this MF
*even though i know the story will end with both of them deeply in love with each other and the bottom forgets everything he went through*

The backstory isn’t written to make you pity said MF. It’s there so the character and story don’t feel hollow, as nobody exists in a vacuum. Knowing what shaped him through a backstory explains to the reader why he acts the way he does now, but it doesn’t mean you have to forgive or sympathize with him. What you feel about it is entirely up to you as a reader. The author’s just giving context, not instructions on how you’re supposed to react. But yes, I agree with your prediction of the ending. The dynamics of the relationship will do a 180, perhaps even into something overly "sweet" and lovey-dovey..

Yeah i know why authors do this and it's acceptable in the story line and gives the story meaning for everything had happened, it's just pains me to see someone went through hell because of someone else & have to forgive everything happened to him just because the evil one has a bad backstory or bad life .. for me it's just excuse to the other lead and us as readers tp forgive everything that happened, hope u get what i mean because I'm not good with describing what i mean ^°^
