There’s such an influx of abusive relationships in yaoi without overtly presenting it as negative, it’s so awful. I started reading this with the hopes it would turn into an exploration of dynamics in relationships, and with some sort of reflection between the power imbalance they have at work and as sex partners, but I was def expecting too much hoping for something as nuanced as that. Tired of so many authors throwing in the towel when it comes to using their brains to write interesting and different stories.
