huh how is the fl and the psycho guy being written poorly? i find the main characters having justifiable depth and being q interesting, but i do agree that its a bummer that the brother’s sa being used as a plot tool to bump fl.
And i dont think the ML is supposed to have any depth or anything hes just selfishly insane without any particular reason, like he does not care about anything at all

as someone w diagnosed psychopathy the guy is being written as grossly exaggerated and it makes it boring because his “cover ups” are so sloppy and motives are so boring, he’s just a spoiled brat not a psychopath and him using leverage over her brother is literally so nothingburger when he can fully tell what the brother is upset about, his motives just make zero sense in general and the fl is acting like she’s some deep down psychopath, i just think the writing would be ten times better if they focused more on the detective than the main leads, it’d make it more suspenseful to see through another character’s eyes rather than have everything shown
