Considering how preg his wife was and she was never shot in the stomach... i ve been very curious about the baby s fate done technically, there was still time to save him in an incubator .. glad they tackled this detail too

If the wife was still breathing yes, babies in the womb dies in few minutes after the mother
I hope they are both alive, its possible the wife was in critical condition and the child was put in an incubator but let me be delusional
