I was really impressed with the story, but I saw the plot twist from a mile away. Sorry for that. It was pretty interesting about the idea of the consequences of having a brain transplant, and who lives in the end. And I found myself kind of scared of the main character and how he fell in to some sort of depression. And MEGU is the best God damn girlfriend in the history of girlfriends. And hoes be hoes by the way. I totally recommend a read, for people who might like neuroscience...I think. Cause I wasn't into neuroscience when I started this...just read it. But younger people might not like this...crap...cause they lack the patience to storm though the story. And I guess the life lesson learned from this story could be: "Hoes be hoes." ; "Don't forgot who you are." ; "Always ask questions, and annoy the doctors" ; "DON'T GET FUCKING SHOT IN THE HEAD BY A PSYCHO OR YOU MIGHT HAVE A BRAIN TRANSPLANT WITH THE FUCKING PSYCHO WHO SHOT YOU." ; "And fucking grow the important pair of balls."

And the incest subtext....maybe I'm analyzing too heavily into the manga

Yeah, having a theory by sigmund freud in there to explain his love for his own mom and sister is pretty weird and outdated. You can want revenge for your mom without wanting to screw her, dammit!

It was painfully obvious, maybe the author wanted us to know but question the theory while we see him change. Seems like the author didn’t do much to deter that idea, and spent the almost the whole manga focusing on the main characters life and personality changes
