in the 1st few chapters he expresses that she is scary to him as he thinks if she found him 1st he would have been worked to the bone, still shows now when she explains her backstop on how she's so strong

I never understood why he always rejected her in the first place... especially when he allows several other non-Sylphie girls to have a go. Though, shredding his armor and clothes.. well hopefully he can replace them easily w/ his crafting skills.
