But as a veteran rofan reader I will prophetize that the villain will be defeated no one we love will die and Olive and mmc will get married

Can you give example of what was improved in the manhwa compared to the novel (from what we've read so far)
I have impulse of looking for novel once i catch up to Manhwa but i don't necessarily want to waste my time if it'll ruin the great read this story has been.

So in my memories in the novel

Mmc was not cursed by a body stealing magician he was just lowkey evil and was not kind he just better hid his true personality for Olive (I know 100% there was no book and Lucas kann and his mother and others weren’t controlled by something) so Ludwig was more evil he didn’t have a split personality and the story was less funny/cute/wholesome. Except for that I dont remember more of what the novel was like (I cant even believe he was like that bc I am so used to the manhwa like what was the novel's plot then yk???) But yes I think on ch1 they were gonna be on the novel's route and then decided to change the plot

And to add to this I did a quick research novel readers said that in the novel the ml raped the fl in the first life to intensify the marriage talks and ml was a demi-god (his god father had raped the mother, I think? Why so many rape??? For no reason I have no respect for the author) and the big sister was not a powerful female leader but the victim of domestic violence?? Yeah I didn’t even want to try to find out more bc wtf

Now what the helly I think that the novel is total ass and we can consider it a totally different story cause what the hell Now I'm just thinking that this manhwa doesn't have a novel cause hahahaha

DAMN at this point the webtoon is a completely different work then. And thank god for that because the novel seems so bad, but the webtoon is genuinely reaaally good. One of the most interesting and original plots in a while

The novel was full of misogynistic tendencies, SA and violence on women that it's just another toxic novel and when I heard that it's going to have an adaptation I thought it'll be another manhwa that romanticizes toxic relationship but hell yeahh(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Well, that explains the plot hole with the painkiller medicine. I think it was on chapter 2 or 3 when he decided to stop making it before he noticed the butler was adicted to it. It was shown as he got enough money so he mas stopping probably to prevent Olive from finding out the knew it was ruining peoples lives and he didn't care. Later on, the flashback showed him chocked the medicine was in the black market, he wanted to stop but was prevented and the drug remained in circulation but better regulated. Very different motives there. I was a bit disapointed because I expected a redemption arc but if the novel was that bad... I'm glad it was changed.
