Rare clear-sighted comment here. The relationship between the ML and MC is like the relationship between a shady online gambling platform and a gambling addict. An evil, abusive opportunist and a glutton for punishment with zero survival instincts who just loves throwing himself off steep slopes are that just straight 90 degrees down. The MC's situation invites only pity and second-hand embarrassment, not righteous anger. He wasn't forced into this relationship, there was no social or financial pressure like the ones women, historically and even today in many cultures, face. He just kept driving himself into a narrower and narrower corner even when he really should've known better. You'd think he was getting paid top dollars for being a submissive, obedient, self-destructive idiot who only asks "how high" when their partner asks them to jump.
Honestly and people would excuse it under the guise of “love” no this is clearly something else and very much twisted and sick. Cause what a terrible fate leave yourself with, I didn’t think anyone would agree with me tbh….this is a surprise honestly
Yeah, the people here are treating this as a case of a careful, responsible driver who was minding his own business but was unlucky and got smashed into by a drunk driver and there was nothing he could have done to save himself. When this is actually a case of person being careless and irresponsible enough to get into a car with a drunk driver and then, getting into an accident as a result. Not only had bro completely cut off his family over a lover to the point that he had no idea how they were doing and they had zero information on him as well, which is already dumb, he also voluntarily gave up all financial autonomy, all avenues of independence up to him. He basically himself handed over a saw to his partner and asked him to cut off all his limbs.
I feel sad for the poor doctor, who got dragged into these two mess, ML is dog shit and I don’t even have enough indecent comments to pour out of such a character, but the Mc was just a spineless person too, allowing one person just destroy you and still holding onto them even in death, not fighting hard for your life and for your passion, just being weak and sad till the end, this should classify as a form of self harm and suicide cause what, ughh just so sad.
I hope the doctor finds someone better, someone who is healed and will tear down those walls of hurt and pain he’s put up, and love him just as much as he deserves and wipe away completely the memory of such a terrible tragic horrible love he once thought he had. I wish the author would write his story and we can see him thriving and coming to understand what true love is, and his story doesn’t have to end with such a tragic character
