Except in the uk lmao, this is something i had to adjust to when reading these things as everywhere else in the world college is like university in the uk, whereas college in the uk starts at 15/16 or so, and then into uni which is 18+
Lots of other places actually, my country allows people to graduate at 16/15 though it's usually 17, and they can go to uni here or in the US
This is me just nitpicking, but the one chapter said they were 4 years apart (which is totally fine considering both were college students) but...in another (or the same chapter) when the flashback happened to their first kiss, she mentions she was twenty, meaning he was 16 (but he's in college at this point?)
