According to me, 'omegaverse' term is invented only for yaoi mangas. That is, it is only basically used for describing/explaining reproduction between two men. As its invention really led to a new wave in yaoi manga field, giving rise to a different that usual plot setting.

What's the point anyway. After all it finally comes down to one being type able to give birth and one providing the semen for reproduction. I agree with the comment that its for yaoi only.
