From what I can recall (and it is RECALL I would have to go back and reread the whole story), he was terribly bullied at his first high school. He couldn't ask for help because the bullies were all sons of parliamentary people or people who had helped his father obtain his position of power. Finally one day he was being bullied and things...went wrong. He was ultimately blamed for not speaking up (weakness), for being bulled (weakness), for defending himself, and basically tarnishing the family name and not being the son his father wanted. And so his father kicked him out of the house. So, now, (I think it was) after half a school year, of running around, his father has taken notice of him again. This time his father has decided that he CAN'T have him running around, because that will reflect poorly on the family and, of course, him.

Basically, think like a father who doesn't give a crap about anything save your own image and the image of the family, and then toss that onto the uke, and start seeing the psychological damage that it is and has done. ...It should actually lead you to realizing WHY he fell for the strong seme, and make you wonder if his feeling for the seme ARE actually love or simply an emotional response triggered by years of emotional abuse.

Then, throw in the fact that the seme, while thinking this is also dealing with his own feels, and not knowing what to do or how to respond (please recall he is a kid too..thus why he sends him-the uke- BACK to his abuser), and you get a really messed up story line.
