Nah she also did say that to choose who you love, you must fulfil the gap that was to be filled by the arranged marriage. Probs why she’s trying to be the best, so she can fill that gap and no need to have marriage as a reason anymore
But I don't think she's she has feelings for her attendant right.. This is a question I'm asking myself, because in the first chapter, she was also the one who said Noble's have a responsibility. They don't really have a choice in whether they get married to someone they love or not, if it's for the betterment of their country, they have to do it, it's their responsibility, so I don't think she would go back on her own words, like practice, what you preach, but at the same time, what I've seen, it looks like, she has feelings for him, and I think the reason why she's this brilliant or trying to be is because she wants to choose the person who she loves to marry, but that the beats the whole purpose of what she did for other people. Like they, didn't choose their partner, but they came to love their partner. So what she can be the only exception of choosing the person that she loves that's a bit selfish, but I might be reaching.
