So basically thousands of years ago Raid originally was the Sage and founded base theories for magic and he focused on engineering for war and so Altein won the war and the kingdom of velgata perished. At this timeline, Eluria wasn't born yet and thousands of years later Eluria was born and Altein was like on bad term with the elves and hated magic and called her a demon for creating magic. Anyway, the world was like a tragic mess and the hero of that time(Raid's successors) was also tired of this BS and sacrificed himself to help Eluria turn back time and create a happy world with magic with the first hero(Raid). And so Eluria said she lost their 50 long year battle cuz at the end of the day, Eluria only managed to create magic based on the theories Raid wrote back when he was the Sage from the past timeline. Tho technically Raid has no recollection of this because he doesnt have any memories as the Sage from back before the world was reset.

And the one who erased the history of Altein and the hero was Eluria's dad in hopes that these two can live happily without shackles of past tragedy(cuz some ppl wants them dead)
