I’d like to correct one thing here…there nothing deep seated about it. It’s usually right on the cover, and the first few pages haha. It’s all the way on top of the seat and so up in our faces we end up dropping those series lol
It is so rare and wonderful to find a monogamous husband in these types of stories. Like for some reason, just because they find themselves in an isekai situation, these mofos go all gaga for building their harem. Zero resistance as well. There was one I remember when a female chara pushed herself onto the MC who already had a wife and he was just 'oh well i guess I have two wives now'. Other MCs its 'Shes a close friend and she likes me, I cant reject her, might as well marry her too'??? Its insane. Its like the words devoted partner or faithfulness just dont exist to them??? Instant drop whenever that happens. It would make sense if they grew up in the world where polygamy is a thing (still somewhat ick but I get it) but they were born and raised in this world and monogamy most definitely exists here. I really question these authors and their apparent deep seated desires. Its quite disgusting.
