am I just conservative or was the pacing of the entire thing just way too fast LOL. All they did was have sex and then boom I love you a lot! Also Diego’s disgustingly clingy towards someone’s he’s only known for like 3 seconds… ermmmmmm . I think Daniel was the only voice of reason this entire series (entire series being only 25 chapters but I digress) and I have a feeling Jaden was only convincing himself because no way in hell would some sex, a taco, and a make out session by the beach make you decide “oh hell yeah I’m over my dead crush [who died in the war] and now I want the dude who looks exactly like him! Totally not a rebound at all and I’m totally still not grieving!”
Also wtf happened to the ptsd aspect??? Why did the author just throw it in there, forget it even existed, then conveniently throw it back in at the last second??? And why is Jake his magical anti-ptsd elixir????
Daniel as a voice of reason goes out the window with him being obsessed with MC to the point of raping, drugging him and then trying to use the MC’s grief to manipulate him into going back to the US with him.
