From what I remember they don’t really talk about it but Yuri’s dad (and mom) are the type of parents that only care about their work and neglect their kids, the only thing they do is give them money to buy food. So that’s kinda the reason why both Yuri and his sister have really shitty personalities and have a soft spot for Heeju cause she’s the only person in their life that actually loves them and is nice to them
