Yeah there's either missing pages or the author skips around wildly, with context clues u can tie the knots but it's annoying

I haven't seen this style of writing in a while, and you are correct, it is annoying. It leaves the reader with a sense that panels or chapters are missing. I wonder if they did that so they didn't have to draw as much content?

A soap opera is a television series that doesn't center on a single person, or just one family. It's a bunch of different stories about a town or workplace (Think of "General Hospital" that had the Famous "Luke and Laura" couple from the 1980's) that could tie loosely together, where a lot of drama happens. If you've ever heard of the Spanish term "Telenovela" it would be the same. (don't think of the singing opera, there is very little to no singing at all). (Info found on the web: A soap opera is a genre of a long-running radio or television serial (looks like they started in 1960's America), frequently characterized by melodrama, ensemble casts, and sentimentality. The term soap opera originated from radio dramas' original sponsorship by soap manufacturers.)
