I think the same, that servant is way too cocky. Before she went against the royal princess too. How ridiculous!
Maybe because of how her mistress is the concubine of the Emperor so she could argue how she was defending her against the 9th Princess' attack?
Or she just doesn't care. She seems the type to do a suicidal attack if her mistress asks her to do it.
