Thank you! I enjoy writing post that people can relate too, and maybe it could be this manhwa as well, everything feels genuine that Old Xian gives us. It just feels like in turn we should be genuine with how we feel towards our lovely characters.
It's interesting that the question popped up.
"Do you like me?" I'm pretty sure Xixi knows very well that Jian yi practically loves him, and probably just wants to confirm things, but Xixi himself is an interesting character.
He reacted harshly to Jian yi when he kissed him, but at the same time he ran after him and comforted him, I don't think he hates the idea that his best friend is in love with him. He never did and probably never will.
On the other hand, Xixi could be confused, the realistic part of this is the fact that Old Xian isn't rushing it, she's not pressing the matter that we all want to see. It takes time to understand your own feelings and the person who has feelings for you.
I honestly want to see the answer he gives, in me I know that we could get hella filler chapters or it jumps to Mo and He Tian's story, I also know that Jian yi could laugh it off, lie, or they will be interrupted again. But, if Jian yi lies I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. Simply because he doesn't want to lose Xixi as a friend for the fact that he might find it disgusting to have feelings for him. But who knows, at least the question was finally asked.
