It really makes you wonder if they actually cared about her. She sends word of finding a husband and being able to take care of the family. Yet the father is over there going “whoopsies, false alarm” after she found a husband. At that point, it sounds like you just wanted to get in her way and did not expect her to find a husband. Well they know she’s not social at all and a workaholic. I don’t think he really lied intentionally it’s like a drunk text where it seemed so much worse than it was in the moment but a letter so it takes longer to correct lol. And they didn’t know she got all that done. I mean it took like two days thats crazy
