Why the hate comments? Girl cheats on long-term boyfriend, basically making him kinda demented and emotionally effed up. Two guys rape one guy. Then two guys use one guy as a substitute for the girl. One guy encourages another guy to commit suicide and blames HIM for what his horny girlfriend did.
Rape alone is enough for me to hate. Cheating without caring the damage being done to the mind and soul of a partner is enough. Selfishness and cruelty is enough.
So, yeah, that's why the hate.
I know but it's a story. Its supposed to be interesting and sometimes dark/twisted. You dont have to agree with serial killers to read criminal books right? I find it well-done for a tragic and dark manga which doesnt mean I like rape and cheating. I LIKE THE WORK. Why would you read something like this if u prefer comedy/fluff/etc. I'm sure there were tags
And also I doubt the author agrees with it but it's the artistic piece, writing/etc about rape or cheating isn't always to glorify it or show it in good light. I understand hating the work or not liking it but your point is invalid. I think it's a good psychological manga
No one is saying that we have to accept it or not read it except you. We are simply calling out problematic shit. The only thing at least partially fictional about this is the narrative. The rest is all based in or on reality. YOU are not fictional after all, now are you? The author is not fictional, now is she? The plots are not written in a vacuum now are they? The world of the story has a beginning, middle and end just like reality now doesn't it? Seriously, if I had a dollar for every time someone naively claimed, "It's just fiction!" I'd be a millionaire. Besides the rape IS glorified, here. As in REALITY it goes unpunished. There are plenty of other reasons to dislike this story. And they've already been outlined for you.
I find this manga really nice and deep and really I don't get the hate comments (so many of them wtf) and the art is beautifull
