I guess he did genuinely care for Raphiel but not enough. It was more about losing his perfect life with the perfect omega, and as you said his homophobia. In reality all this happened because he chose to be a coward. Not that Aeroc isn’t wrong for the mistake he did but dang Kloff is next level psychotic.
i think in that timeline raphiel became a kind of 'safe space' as he thought aeroc looked down on him making him want to humilate aeroc ( hence the rose bush meeting when aeroc suggest alpha x alpha ) whereas raphiel genuinely was kind hearted and an omega this being important because i think hes mixing up aeroc looking / becoming an omega through pregnancys with him looking more like raphiel when actually its the fact that his mind is doing mental gymnastics to with the because he cant face being attracted to aeroc because of the fact that aeroc used to be an alpha- hes attracted to a man who still physically is like an alpha. kloff should have killed aeroc, what happened to raphiel was disgusting but due to 'pull' he feels towards aeroc he masks it by punishing him with pregnancys and abuse because how can he admit he has feelings for the person who had his pregnant husband gang raped ?
Yeah I kinda figured this was the case. He extremely resented him because he lost what could’ve been a “safe and acceptable” family, his partner and baby. But he also resented himself for still loving Aeroc regardless.
Kloff should have killed Aeroc and those other men (don’t remember if he did) instead of being the same man as the other men were. He used this opportunity to fuck Aeroc like his heart had always desired.
Alpha x alpha hate is basically homophobia in their world. He resents that. But funny how much faster they got together and fucked in the second tl. It could’ve been like that from the start.
I was more thinking he thought Raphiel looked like Aeroc because he kept comparing Raphiel to Aeroc but vice versa is not wrong either. He said cruel words and made Aeroc dress in Raphiel’s clothing out of trauma and he probably wanted him to look like Raphiel so that he didn’t feel it’s wrong.
Yeah the mental gymnastics were insane because he had me confused and pausing.
i dont think there actually was any alpha x alpha hate since nobles openly lusted over aeorc in the second timeline but i more him projecting his feelings towards aeroc and viewing them as something disgusting and impure hence the violent reation when he sees those two alphas kissing , yeah i think at the end he didnt even know what he wanted as he defo blurred the lines between him liking aeroc = viewing him as raphiel
I mean Kloff did dislike alpha x alpha, so there is that. That’s why he says that an omega and alpha makes a natural or something family, he mentioned something about it being “right”. He forced himself to deny any feelings and any thoughts of having those feelings for Aeroc, I guess thats why he mentioned Raphiel.
I don’t get it. If Kloff never liked Raphiel, why did he say: “He looked so much like Raphiel, and it made my heart race…” (ch 21)
I hate this man with all my heart.
And if he did like Aeroc, then why did he say: “I should’ve told you what you wanted to hear (I love you) even if it was a LIE.”
(Is it because he is still in denial?)
Also I heard that apparently Kloff would’ve never been happy with Raphiel anyways even if the bad stuff didn’t happen. That Kloff would’ve been violent if there was no Aeroc, that he would be violent towards Raphiel. Is this true? Why? How come. If this is just a theory, it makes sense because in chapter 32, Kloff of 2nd timeline just imagines how his life with Raphiel would be tranquil and dull. The moment he stood up in that imagination, Raphiel got scared. Then Aeroc’s face showed up.
Also in chapter 27, Kloff (2nd timeline) wonders why he feels the need to attack and strangle Aeroc. Is this because he genuinely felt sad and angry that he lost Raphiel and the baby (or just the baby)? Was he genuine friends with Raphiel? Is this ever explained.
I can’t understand Kloff. But I do know he has never loved Raphiel romantically. And more confirmation (ch 46) where he just says he chose Raphiel because he wanted to settle.
