Not to be rude, but I get the impression you're not overly familiar with yuri/GL fandom. There are a lot of terribly written GL "pornhwa" that people love ("Bad Thinking Diary" comes to mind). If you're talking about purity testing, many GL include dark themes and toxic relationships (like "White Angels Have No Rest", "Love Thy Neighbor", or "Revenge"). All these manhwa have been criticized and yet the GL fandom is still standing. Maybe you should branch out from tentacle porn, bro. Reread the Second Sex, it might do you some good.
