I used to follow Kizu Natsuki Sensei’s work from her doujinshi days and through her early manga releases. Given was such a let-down; to this day, I find it hard to swallow the fact that she mishandled the Aki/Haru story so completely. They had so much potential—she crafted one of the best couple storylines, yet she dismissed their relationship too hastily. Instead of fully developing their bond in well-disclosed chapters, she rushed their reconciliation through fragments and bits, leaving their story feeling incomplete....She built up the drama beautifully, but the ending felt hurried and abrupt, as if she rushed through the resolution without giving it the proper attention. It’s frustrating not to see their story unfold fully and earn the conclusion it deserved. I still feel heartbroken that their relationship wasn’t given the care and depth it needed..... Still, I'm glad she received more recognition after this work.
