I just started and what I found really weird was ML bringing up the 1 year marriage contract. All his initial I love you just seems like a set up I guess? Since FL fits perfectly with his needs and their personalities match he can block the former duchess. Especially since he tells her to leave him after a year since he’s not sure if he’ll be a good husband beyond that…. It was weird how they just flipped the scenario like that
I like the fl and ml even the sister possibly the sister's first love. But.... I'm about to flip. Why would the father try to marry her off without fact checking? He knows how she acts, how can you believe a phony letter? Also, still can't believe he apprived of that disgusting old pig like whut just because she's 21 doesn't mean she should settle for someone older than you. Do you really care for her? Why won't Tia say to her dad what happened? It might be humiliating but he's your father. Niki likes her enough to get married but wants this to be a one year contract thing. It's so sudden as if he doesn't really like but just as a means to maintain control of the Duchy. Ivan's a two-bit villain. He's a piece of shit but that's his role, a piece of shit. So at least he's safe. This story has so many plot holes, I'm losing braincells. I love the art and plot was really interesting right until I couldn't take the plot holes further. Not sure if I'll continue for now it'll be on my read list.
