I feel uneasy about boy love plots featuring an older uke and a younger seme who meet when the seme is a child. Reading chapter 37 made me uncomfortable, especially with a minor having sexual thoughts about an older man. This might be acceptable in Korean culture, but it’s not okay where I’m from. The child growing up and gRaping the man who showed him compassion in his younger years is crazy.
I hope Seme and Uke don’t end up together.

So I have calculated their age this way idk if it's right but this is the only way I can make sense of the plot and the ages and I feel that it's important to know the characters ages when reading a story
So since in the end of season one the author gave us the characters ages: king is 25 y.o, the scholar is 32 and the oldest son (the original heir to the throne) is 36
*When the king first met the scholar at the palace the scholar said he looked like 3 or 4 y.o maximum so then let's that say that;
the king is 4 y.o, the scholar is 11 y.o and the o.g heir is 15 y.o
*Later it said that four autumns have passed so this is when the king stabbed his brother in the eye that would mean 4 years or nearly five years has passed) meaning;
the king is 8-9 y.o, the scholar is 15-16 y.o and the o.g heir is 19-20 y.o
*lastly in the chapter 37 it says that 5 years have passed (10 years in total since the king came to the palace);
the king is 14 y.o, the scholar is 21 y.o and the o.g heir is 25 y.o
And I think the kings second oldest brother is about 5 years older than him that would mean that he's about 19 in the end of the chapter 37 cuz that's the only age that would make sense for him to be having a lover
